Competition & Convention
Dates and Information 
Competition is for any dancer who wishes to compete.

For those interested in Competing the requirements are:
• regular attendance of class
• paying the competition fees
• attending any extra rehearsals your teacher feels are necessary 
• Sign the competition commitment contract 
• paying a competition commitment fee (includes rehearsal fees for regional competitions and competition registration/media fees)
**All competitors need the Casa competition glitter gear shirt. If you have one you do not need another unless you have outgrown your current shirt. If you are new to competition you will need to order the competition glitter gear shirt, $31.00. Please order at the front desk. A limited number of Casa Yoga mats for stretching at competition are available for $25.00.

**Royal Dance Competition has a concierge for each studio who posts Instagram videos/photos of our dancers/dances and makes sure the studio has everything needed.

Diva Dance Competition

Novice Solos $115
Intermediate & Advanced Solos::$125 - All Intermediate & Advanced solos are automatically entered in title & high scores
Duets $75 per dancer

**Diva Dance offers a Special Needs Category. They donate a portion of their profits to the CdLS Foundation to give back. 
**Diva Dance has LIVE judges critiques after each performance. Awards are never long because they give out your adjudication to each dance right after they perform!

Convention Information
Conventions help dancers develop their dance education and make them more well-rounded dancers. While going to the conventions is not required it is highly recommended for our competitive dancers. We have connected with an online accredited source to have video conventions and will be having at least one in house master class with Valerie Amiss from the Pennsylvania Ballet.

$115 with cash or check. Dancers in Novice receive free parent observer band. Observers for Intermediate & Advanced are $20 per parent.

Here's what you can expect at ELEVATE Dance Intensive:
- 6 Classes **NEW**
In addition to our roster of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop, we now offer Improv!
- 3 Levels
With 3 levels (Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced) dancers are able to attend classes based on their ability to get the most out of their learning.
- Awards and Scholarships
ALL dancers have the opportunity to be recognized by the faculty and awarded scholarships.
- Dancer Showcase
At the conclusion of the Intensive, the dancers will have the opportunity to showcase what they learned in their last class of the day. Observer bands are not needed to attend the showcase. All are welcome!
